This is for today's Alphabet challenge - newsprint - and today's sketch. Looking at the sketch, I thought of my nutcracker and that his mustache could be panel 2 with the sentiment stamped right on it.
The newsprint didn't look very festive so I stamped the star stamp from Gina K's Starstruck stamp set repeatedly over the back and heat embossed it with gold which gives great shine to the background.
I colored my nutcracker with Copics and sponged the edge of the panel with Vintage Photo (also sponged the edges of the newsprint panel). Die cut some gold glitter paper for the scallop strip. The mustache is popped up with dimensionals.
I sponged Starry Night around the border of the white card base to give it a pop of color.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

So clever!! I love the saying on his 'stache. Fab combo for the challenges.

GREAT newsprint background with the gold embossed stars! Cute image...love the mustached white-embossed sentiment and your gold glittery side edging working so well with the BG gold embossing! FUN card!
