I am delighted to be your hostess for the Color Challenge. I selected two SU In Colors and one core color: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Rich Razzleberry. The dessert option is Nature. I thought this combo would be good with the upcoming holidays if desired or any occasion of your choice. We want you to play along, so if you do not have these exact colors, please know you can substitute and using neutrals is always an option. Whatever you do, I hope you have fun and like what you create.
Recently, I found a stamp set (Oh So Succulent) with coordinating dies in my collection that has been unloved. This year, I started growing succulents on my front porch so I am interested in this set again. For my card, I only used the dies to create a 3-D succulent. I die-cut each layer in Soft Succulent CS, sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry and using a finger dauber I lightly touched on Evening Evergreen to add texture. With a bone folder, I curved the petals downwards on the bottom two layers and upwards on the 3rd layer. The 4th layer was cut from shimmer vellum. There are Dimensionals between the layers, except for the top vellum jewel that has a jewel to cover the glue spot. The rest is DSP, ribbon, jewels and stamped sentiment. I look forward to exploring this set even more. I cannot wait to see what your ideas are! TFL

Thank you so much for the wonderful challenge this week. Your succulent is absolutely beautiful, the sponging is the perfect touch to make it truly splendid!
