This card is for today's limited supplies challenge which follows a summer theme, no more than 3 layers plus card base, limited embellishments and no patterned paper. I hope I didn't overdo the embellishments by Cuttlebugging the blue background and using two brads to hold down the ribbon. Sorry if this is too much!
Since I couldn't add a layer of red around the main oval image, I sponged it with Real Red instead. I used Itty Bitty Backgrounds inked with Close to Cocoa to fill in the beach below the Sandy Shells wheel. Tore the top edge of the Sahara Sand panel to make it a little uneven. Added a strip of red striped ribbon at the top, leaving a small strip of the Bashful Blue showing.
It's hard to resist the urge to add more stuff, but sometimes it's refreshing to apply some restraint and get your brain working harder! Thanks for looking!
