This Valentine is for my 92-year old, spry Mom...an avid cardmaker as well! I pulled out some of my very favorite leftover papers, stamps, and tools purchased from the Stampin' Up in 2015 that have been gathering dust for the last three years! This Happy Heart EF was one of Mom's favorites!
My focus in making this Valentine was to catch up on another of the Alphabet Challenges, but I found if I used polka dots and patterns, it would fit the Teapot Tuesday challenge, and with hearts the new WT challenge, plus repeated another. See the challenge list below.
#1 -Alphabet Challenge, Round 8 - DD8ABC18R - 12/13/17 - Letter R/ Double I = ink...use ink in any way desired. My card: R = Rhinestones/ Double - I = Ink...Memento Tuxedo Black ink for sentiment stamping.
#2 Free for All Challenge - F4A414 - 1/26/18..."All the Love"...make a card for someone you love to show how they brighten your day. You can add hearts or incorporate the work "love" to make it even more "love"ly! My card is for my 92-year old mom.
#3 - Ways to Use It Challenge - WT674 - 2/8/18 - "Whatever Suits You"...create a card using suits...heart or diamonds or spades or club or images that represent them! Mine is a heart card for my 92-year old mom.
#4 - MMTPT498 - 2/6/18...Fashion Forward"...incorporate some kind of textile element into your card, i.e., Prints: plaid, argyle, stripes, polka dots, animal prints, calico, etc.; Textures: embossing folders, velvet, corduroy, lace, fabric leather (faux leather technique), etc. My card incorporates polka dots, textured embossing, and bling!
#5 - USEIT2018 - Use It Challenge...Use forgotten and old stamps, die, and supplies. My card uses three-year Stampin' Up products, some of which have been retired: Patterned dsp--Stacked with Love, stamp set--Hello Life, embossing folder--Happy Hearts, and Itty Bitty Accent punch pack (heart).
Ingredients: Stampin' Up papers: Cardstock--Whisper White, Basic Black, Crisp Cantaloupe (retired); Patterned dsp--Stacked with Love. SU stamps: Hello Life (2016-retired). SU: Happy Heart EF. SU punches: Itty Bitty Accents Pack (2016-retired); 1/2" Circle; 2" Circle; 2-1/4" Scallop Circle. SU-Rhinestones. Wink of Stella-Clear. Computer-composed verse. Size: 4-1/2' x 5-5/8".

What an elegant, classy Valentine's card this is for your dear mother. I am impressed you are using up items from your stash (I need to learn to do this now). I love the design, the colors and the bits of bling too. You sure know how to make a card that works for many challenges my friend and that is quite impressive! ~Karen.
