Karen is giving us the color inspiration this week. Lovely combination of Soft suede, certain celery, and blushing bride.
This is my last card as a guest designer. I so enjoyed this experience. I do have a new found appreciation to the gals who give freely their time and inspiration for these weekly challenges.
Speaking of inspiration....mine came to me today as I was attending our local Veteren's Day ceremony at out local cemetary. There were a number of tombstones with porcelain pictures of the soldier. I was amazed what great condition they were in after many years.
I made a birthday card for one of my best buds using the faux porcelain technique. I stamped the image in soft suede. Colored it with chalks, and sponged with celery green around the oval before embossing. Added
die cut lace and flourish. Finished it with brads, and ribbon. tfl

Linda, isn't it amazing how inspiration comes to us in so many places??!! Your card is lovely and evokes the feeling of those photo or porcelain medallions. Love the pretty die cut flourishes too.

This really does look like porcelain, Linda. How beautiful the lilies are in pink! Well done!
