For this week's WTUI challenge from Toni ~ WT492 Glazed Over .
I was able to combine this with Amber's challenge to the CCEE Stampers; this week, as she is seeing her oldest off to college she has asked us to make goodbye cards - goodbye, bon voyage, sympathy... Since there's not one single sympathy card in my stash at the moment, that's the option I chose.
I stamped the lilies and coloured them with pencils, then embossed. I added some little dots of Glossy Accents to some of the dots, and then sponged the edges and highlighted them with a gold pen. I cut and embossed the sentiment and attached it with two pearl brads.

Oh Sabrina, there seems to be almost a spiritual glow around your flowers. This is so comforting and peaceful. Beautiful design and color choice. The glossy accents on the dots are such a cleaver addition.

Beautiful sympathy card, Sabrina. The glossy accents on some of the dots are like tear drops that landed on your card....further expressing your sorrow.

I never think to do something like this - just highlight *some" of something. I always go all or nothing. This is very effective and I will have to try and remember it. Calla lilies are perfect for a sympathy card.
