LeAnn has such a fun color combination for us this week: I'm passing on green for dessert since you can't make a yellow and purple Viking if you live in Minnesota and have green ANYWHERE in the vicinity. (This started as a birthday card for my son who is a MN Vikings fan but ended up a little too "cute" for him so I went for a Valentine theme.) I tried to make the scallops on the Smoky Slate layer less "cute" by rotating the die ever so slightly and then die cutting it a second time so the scallops look a little more like points or a circular saw.
Thanks for peeking! I hope you will play along with us this week

Isn't he a Cutie! I like the way you make your cards cas, Chris. They look so easy, but I know there's a lot that go into them. Wonderful texture and a perfect way to use these colors~

So adorable. I love Vikings (I married one) and this one is great. Love your edges -- the zig zag and the plaid. Love your creativity in getting the "sawtooth" on the oval too. Great card.
