It has been Years since I've used watercolored pencils, and I had so much fun creating this card! I stumbled upon one that AudreyAnn had made using pencils and I loved it so well, that's what I decided to do. Actually, I was all set to use my blender pens to smooth this out, but in the end I felt it didn't even need to be done. I sponged around the edges with pool party and die-cut, then matted with gray and popped up. For the strips, I used a small stamp in the set and colored the same way as the image. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

I'm amazed that you used this image today; I was THIS close to using it as well, had the set out, measured the size for a panel, etc., etc. : ) I was also trying to do triple duty for the sketch, color challenge and tea party; I couldn't make this image work with the bright colors from yesterday, so I put it away. But I'll be faving your card because your coloring of this is stellar, and I love, love the way you used the little viney image for the horizontal elements; great job!

This is fantastic. It has a wonderful delicate tone...not all flowers are big colorful honkers. The tones are soft...I love the look of the pots...and the continuation of the flowers in the BG.

GF, I love this. It's beautiful. I love how you did the stripes and the image is expertly colored. WTG with the w/c pencils - I should get mine out!! And your signature sponging is perfect. LOVE this. Saved.
