I liked the potted plant, the stripes and the bright colors. Inspired with the stripes, but I could not find black/white striped paper in my stash; I ended up using stiped embossing.
Changes: different image of a potted tulip plant, colors, stripes embossed, added polka-dot paper, sentiment punched out, smaller panel, layout adjusted, earthy pot instead of bright colored.
Terrific challenges. Thank you to the hostesses! TFL
Thank you Amanda for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for inspiring mine today.

These are fabulous colors together - I have always been a fan of Mint Macaron and it looks terrific with the black and red. Very clever to use striped embossing folder to mimic striped patterned paper. Colored image is very sweet, and I love all of the extra details like the scalloped oval layer for the sentiment and the black jewels, making the finished result look very cohesive and polished.
