I tried somthing new! I had some old mini blinds (that I wouldn't let my husband throw away) that I tried stamping on! I also tried embossing on them. Don't do that! It melts right in your hand! LOL It was hard to get a picture so you could see that the iris flowrs are actually stamped on mini blinds and not just white paper. I had bought some sticky strips by mistake and they worked great as adhesive for the blinds since they are curved.
Hope this inspires you to try using things, you might other wise throw away! Thanks for looking.

This is really beautiful and I love the colors. I would have never thought to cut and stamp on mini blinds. If you use them again try using craft ink to stamp your image and the embossing will work. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

OMG! Who'd a thunk! Before long, we will all be *decorating* all of our windows, if you know what I mean! Giggle! This is so very creative and fun! I think you might win the prize today for the most innovative use of something you would normally throw away. At least your husband won't question you next time you say.......
Hey, don't throw that away, I might use that some day!

Well how cool! I wondered for a second at the rounded nature of the white layers... you have a lot of cards I haven't seen this week, I haven't been on too much.
