This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge. Congrats to Doni High on being this week's Featured Stampers. She has a lovely gallery. I decided to CASE this card:
I thought it looked like a lovely design for a sympathy card. I found an old piece of handmade background paper in my stash and used a piece of that. This is made by wrinkling the paper, rubbing on ink and misting with water. Dry and then repeat this process with different colors of ink. I sprinked some gold EP on this and heated from the back to melt it. This was adhered to a Handsome Hunter backing. I cut and embossed the fern die and then sponged on some white craft ink with the die still in place and spritzed with Gold Smooch spray. I added vein lines to the leaves. The dragonfly was punched and I added detailing to the body and sprayed it with Smooch spray and then used a versamarker and some clear EP to high light the body. I used slightly different colors from Doni's card and a different fern and I added a dragonfly.

This really does make a beautiful sympathy card, Kathy. It has a warm, earthy, soothing feel. Love the wonderful multicolour rectangle paired with the textured layer . Fabulous and perfect leaf to top them off.
