I really liked my original thank you card for the club owner that gave my USTA team 6 weeks of 3 free lessons/drills per week. But, since we were using a ball machine during those drills and it seemed like the balls were never ending, I thought I'd make one with a lot of balls instead of just one. My team can pick which card they like better.
I'm also very happy that the tennis ball from the old Good Sport set fits perfectly in the 1 3/8 circle punch.
I used Gina K heavy weight paper for the base, because SU Whisper White is simply not thick enough to handle this kind of layout. The balls are popped to various heights with several different thicknesses of dimensionals.
I keep seeing other people do cards like this and they look beautiful. When I try to layer items in this way, I'm never 100% happy. Same here. I played with the ball positioning for a while, got something I liked, but when I positioned everything for real, it just didn't work. Boo.

You could put the single ball on the inside of the card and have the best of both. My husband likes to play tennis (he just left to do that), so this attracted me. TFS!!!

I love it the way it is! It caught my eye right away. I have a very deep respect for anyone who can play tennis too! Fantastic card for your club owner!
