I saw somewhere on here a technique where they stamped on the designer paper, than cut it out for a dress to match the background. Destressed and paper layering using a 1/8th borders, scallop edge punch. Uploading really for me so I have a picture of it when I give it away

Hi, Pam, and congratulations on your first upload to SCS! And it is a good idea to post here so you remember the card after it's sent! It's a lovely card with perfect distressing, and the technique is called paper-piecing (and I love to do it myself). Here's a link to that tutorial, so you can go to it again.
I hope we'll see more of your cards, and I love the photo you have in your profile! So glad you've finally decided to upload. You'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here. Hugs!

Ladies! you are all so kind! After 5 years of schooling, not to mention life changing dramatically during those years, its nice to be in the craft room again, a little piece of my heart has been laying in wait, I had no idea I was missing that piece of creative joy... hope to post more often, as I look at the cards I've made - it links me back to those I've made them for. I receive so much joy and inspiration from every thing I see on this site. So thankful to remembering how to log in <3
I am so glad you remembered how to log in too!!! So glad you posted and hope to see more. Hope the bumps in the road level so you can have more time in the stamping room! Nothing quite like creating! I love the paper pieced dress. You have given me a great idea on how to use some of the frames I have. The sheer bow adds an extra element of elegance!
