For my dad! He's retired and loves to golf with his buddies, so this is a great image.
I used tutorial by Beate on this site which was super helpful. This is my first pop-up surprise card, so it took some time to make. But worth it and I will make more now that I have my head around it! Ha.

What a super pop up card for your Dad. He is sure to smile big when he receives it...and will probably show it to all his golf buddies.

Hi Donna.........I just noticed that you left a nice comment on one of my cards last week. Thank you so much. Been down and out with some tooth problems, abscess and root canal lately. What's weird is that my tooth never bothered me but the routine dental x-rays showed something all together different. Okay, lets talk about something cute.....this golfing card of yours! In all my years of card making, I have never made a pop up card. Beate John's was my idol for so many years and I loved every video she ever made. I miss her dearly and I am so thankful for her because I learned so much from her. Thank goodness we can still learn from her with old videos via SCS and YouTube.
Getting back to your card...........your image is adorable. You colored it so nicely and all your different colored cardstock and designer paper are perfect for the colors that you ended up coloring your image with. I'm sure your Dad liked it.
Hope you are doing well. It's been a LONG, cold, snowy winter in my neck of the world but spring should be here soon.
Donna, have you tried Kuretake clean color Zig real brush markers? You can buy them on Amazon. They are just a little over a dollar a piece. You can buy them in a pack of 48 colors or 80 colors. You use a water brush and only use Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper after you have stamped your image with Versafine onxy black ink pad. You can get the Strathmore Bristol smooth paper pads at Joann's or Hobby Lobby in the watercolor department. DO NOT BUY THE STRATHMORE BRISTOL VELUM PAPER PAD!!!!!You can layer down of bunch of colors at a time on your image and then just take your water brush and have fun coloring it. I love these markers so much that I used them every time I make a card now. I loved the 40 pack so much that I ordered the 80 pack and now I have eighty different colors. They last SO Long too.
