Card edit: this is the card I posted yesterday titled Explosive Celebration. After looking at it, I decided it was too dark so today I masked the gold glitter paper and the cardbase, and then "stamped" each firework with white acrylic paint. I think it really adds to the card.
I tried to edit the photo of my original post, but wasn't able to so I have uploaded it a second time. This is how it looks currently.
Description below:
Today's TLC challenge is to paint with cardboard. I knew I wanted to try it but I wanted a smaller diameter cardboard tube. After thinking, I cut the TP core and wrapped it with a rubber band, then made my paint tool as directed in the TLC challenge.
I actually made two cards because I started my first one on white cs and then remembered I wanted a night sky effect for fireworks! So this card I used black cs.
I used three shades of blue acrylic ink and last a gold glitter paint.
I matted this version with gold glitter paper and heat embossed the sentiment.
Thank you, Judy, this was a fun challenge!

This looks fantastic! I didn't see the other one, but love the white highlights and shimmery gold in this one! Thank you for playing along in the TLC this week!
