DD9ABC13M: for the letter M, I used the lovely, retired Marina Mist. I would use this for a guy's birthday card too so I say I have the double challenge of masculine as well. I saw this fun fold and wanted to try it, except that I wanted a landscape card so I could use the Birthday Blast and Star Blast stamps and edgelits. Here is the link to the Double Tower Fold: https://mixedupcraft.com/2018/05/16/double-tower-card/
I followed the directions except that my base piece was 5 x 11 resulting in the landscape style card. The towers are the two sides that are cut every 1/2 inch to create the fun fold towers.
First I created the two towers - though I didn't make any pencil marks. The SU trimmer makes this easy to do without pencil marks. Then I stamped the star image using Marina Mist ink. I heat embossed the sentiment. Cut the star blast edgelit from silver glitter paper - which I also used on the two wings, placed a few of the cut out stars on the base and it was done.
This was a fun fold to try. Thanks for looking!

I give you an "A" for effort, Catherine! I tend to shy away from technique folds on cards, but you just dig in and go for them. Nice sparkly birthday card for either sex~
