I wanted to make this cottage a Christmas card so I water colored only part of it and then added some gel paste to the bottom for the snow. I added details to it with a white gel pen and added a couple of pine trees from a die and highlighted those with gel pen as well. I think it looks quite cold and wintery.

This is such a delightful Christmas card, Pat. The sweet cottage is beautifully colored and looks so cozy. I love the little pebble path and evergreens. I would love to curl up in this little house with a fire in the fireplace and a good book to read!

What a lovely cottage scene, and you made it so pretty and peaceful with your "snow" the white addition is so neat. Great idea to get a start on some of those,,,I should now too...thanks for the idea....and for sharing...:0)
