This card is a thank you card for a stamping friend who gifted me with an extra stamp set she had ordered by mistake. I used this week's Featured Stamper card as inspiration:
Marge used a leaf stencil and made a thanks card with a die cut Thanks and a smaller stamped sentiment strip. I sponged with green, blue/green and pink as opposed to green and blue to make a background and then used a negative of a fern die cut to sponge on some ferns. I added a scrap paper heart and the cute little birds from the January Paper Pumpkin Kit stamp set. I die cut a Thanks greeting (different from the one Marge used and added a sentiment strip also. I added a glittered heart and small twine bow to complete the card.

Beautiful sponging and negative fern sponging...so very striking! Love your prettily colored birds and dsp background and peeking through your focal heart. Green shade in a monochromatic look is lovely!
