Barbara's colors this week are very soothing for me. So I went with watercolor and the "just breathe" sentiment. Sometimes I have to remind myself to slow down. I find watercoloring very relaxing. I die cut several of the feathers out of Pretty Peacock cardstock and stacked them under the feather to give it a little dimension and contrast with the feather underneath. To achieve the effect underneath, I did watercolor washes then stamped the feathers while it was still damp. I did this twice (hooray for my Stamparatus!) to soften them.

So artistic, Jeanne! I adore the slightly dreamy, slightly blurred leaves and the way you stamped and watercolored them. The images and the sentiment make me think of how the air smells after a rain. So calming!
