Karen has a warm wintery color combination for us this week but I must admit the silver accents threw me a bit. In fact, the first card I made was with gold and I went back to the drawing board to try it again with silver. And you know what? I really ended up liking the silver version better!
I did my stamping with the stamparatus/stamp positioning tool. This really makes playing around with colors with this multi layer set quite a bit of fun. My final layer was adding Silver Delicata ink and then embossing it. The vertical border is Mercury Glass Acetate over the Pool Party card base. I added a few embellishments that are technically Coastal Cabana but as rhinestones the color comes off a bit lighter, almost just like Pool Party.
I'm looking forward to seeing your card in this week's gallery!

Beautiful card Chris. I love that border - silver and Pool Party are just made for each other. (And I have this stamp on order, however I want to watercolor mine!)

The silver is gorgeous. Those berries in blue are fab. Great layout!
