This is my entry for the Alphabet Challenge letter I. It is represented by the words impressed and inspired in the sentiment and also by the isosceles triangles used to stamp the background pattern.
I'm also entering it to this week's color challenge (though I had to substitute Pacific Point and Melon Mambo for Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick) and I used this week's fun sketch to make the card.
First, I stamped my pair of triangles together and cut them out to use as a guide for the washi tape placement. Next, I created my grid with washi tape and then stamped the triangles together - two isosceles triangles per opening - to make the pattern. The stamping isn't perfect but it was fun. (Side note, have you ever had a SU ink pad that the ink didn't seem to match what you thought it would be? I kind of feel that way about the Balmy Blue ink on this card. It doesn't look quite like I expect it from the cover.)
When I took the washi tape off, it revealed the pattern. I used the thinnest washi tape I had but I felt the grid lines were still on the wide side so decided to add thin lines with the Balmy Blue marker.
I attached this piece to a Balmy Blue card base, matted the sentiment with Pacific Point and Melon Mambo, and popped it up with dimensionals, adding two rhinestones for some shine.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

I am so impressed by this card Catherine- your creativity is amazing. I love argyle and the way you took triangles and made your argyle is quite impressive. The colors are fabulous and the wonderful lines in the white spaces gives this card a really finished and professional look. The sentiment just adds to how special this card already is. ~Karen.
