Hello Friends... Karen is our sweet and talented hostess for this week's challenge CC825! Her chose of colors this week was perfect for my Hydrangea flower design, Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green, with the dessert option of using pearls. Yes this was an easy peasy challenge and I think you ought to give it a try too!
This slimline design's background was done in the challenge colors using a blending brush. The blending brushes provide such a nice soft background, don't you think? Each hydrangea was stamped on a Whisper White square using the stamp set 'Hydrangea Haven'. Each stamped square was framed with a scalloped square frame. It's not visibly clear in the picture but each hydrangea has been colored with Frost White Shimmer paint. The pearls were colored by using Stampin' Blends and the sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Embosssing Powder.
Allow me to invite you to our challenge this week, we the team would love for you to share your lovely creation of inspiration. Thank you for taking a look!

There is such artistry in this card, LeAnn. From alternating diamond and square positions to adding the little leaves, to the beautiful ink-blended background. And the sentiment is just wonderful, too!

This is beautiful LeAnn. I love how you highlighted the hydrangea with the frames and made them each in a different color. Lovely card all the way around!

A great layout for a slimline card. Love the way you added those outside leaves on the corner of the square.

Lovely in the slimline size, LeAnn! I really like the way you used the images.
