Our sketch today led me to this mouse image and some fun holiday paper. I'm glad I don't have the job of painting stripes. I would never get them straight.
The process is just the card base with a layer of SP over it. There is a green ribbon flag down the middle of the card but it's on a green stripe of the plaid so it doesn't show up much. Then there is the image panel which was colored with Copic markers and masked with masking fluid because I didn't like the white BG. I sponged on some green ink and then rubbed off the masking fluid. The smaller square sentiment panel has been notched so that metallic green thread could be wound around it for embellishment and a star brad (minus prongs) was glued in the corner.

We just finished painting the game room-nothing was as straight as these stripes. Fun Christmas card with that cute mouse image.

What a terrific Christmas card! That HM image is SO cute and your coloring of it, and the soft green background, are superb. I love the festive plaid, too!
