The teapotters are sending cards to Rex who is Gracie's (JRholbrook) fil. Polly is the hostess and has given us a word challenge to use at least 4 letters of the word smile. I had this dp paper out already and got excited to make this, so forgot about the challenge while making it, lol. But after finishing it, I got the challenge in. Phew!
S=stamping, I=ink, L=stitched labels (heart), and E=evergreen.
I glued the two bases together and let the trees sway in the breeze, lol. Just glued the ends of the trees on both sides down.
Hope this puts a smile on Rex's heart!

I love the dp for the bg...it goes so well with all those wonderful evergreens. I think Rex is going to have some explaining to do when he gets all these cards in the mail...How could he not be thrilled!

All these blue trees are gorgeous. Doesn't every guy say his favorite color is blue? I bet Rex will love your card!!

Well, it's making me smile. I LOVE that dp and especially they way you paid it with the die cuts. The layers of blue are stunning. Good job getting your Word Play done too -- it's hard to miss dessert. LOL. This is a beauty, Shirl. Fav'd.

Gosh, what a fabulous pairing of the DP with the die-cut trees, it looks fantastic, Shirl - adds such depth to your woodland scene. That little stitched heart is sweet.

Wow, Shirl! You card is wonderful! I love that DP and the way you added the die cut tree line with the navy for a shadow effect! PERFECT! Thanks so much for creating this for Rex. He will love it! Big hugs to you!
