I do have some pretty napkins, but I also have almost a whole pack of the napkins I ended up as the best for the technique when I featured die-cutting napkins as a TLC - so that's what I went with. Tutorial linked in Lisa's challenge post . I have a vague recollection that I used to find double-sided adhesive helped ensure the bottom layer of the napkin stayed stuck to the card, but I couldn't find mention of it in any of my write-ups.
I embossed a square of white card and added some Cosmic Shimmer paste to highlight it. Chose a butterfly from my butterfly box to pair with the flower and leaf, and added a birthday sentiment. It was a bit Spartan so I punched the corners and added a gold cord frame.

I love that die cut technique! Beautifully coloured, Sabrina. It gives a wonderful watercolour contrast. I love how you despartinized your card by adding the gold chord!

Gorgeous! Those die cut elements - the leaves, the flower and butterfly have such fabulous dimension and texture. The butterfly is so cool too and the bg embossing in white makes it all pop out so beautifully.

Beautiful and so colorful! Thanks for reminding me about the corner punch! I have that one and the cord really finishes off the card. Thanks for sharing!

I love your felted die cut, it's so wonderfully vibrant but also has a watercolor feel! The back panel is wonderful, and how you attached the cord is just genius! The butterfly was a perfect touch! Beautifully done!

So beautiful, Sabrina! I have some napkins already attached to cardstock, do you think I can find them? Probably in the same place as Jane Austen. Sigh. I'm probably going to follow in your footsteps with this technique.
