This was a fun card to make. I was inspired by a card by Sonia Schimke, a local Demo. Each candle-body is a scrap of designer paper, each one different. Each flame is from Pick a Petal, stamped in So Saffron, wick drawn in black pen, and base of flame stamped from Bud Basics in More Mustard. Arranged candle colors somewhat in "color wheel" sequence, 5 candles to a section X 10 sections = 50 candles. "Chocolate" cake was masked the length of the CS and brayered in Bravo Burgundy. Small rectangular hand punch was used to punch holes at folds across the cake & candles to thread the twill tape through. The curvy Happy Birthday was stamped in Bravo Burgundy. The color scheme of the color came from the color wheel: Bravo Burgundy, Old Olive, So Saffron. Black craft ink and black EP "You Did What?". Flannel plaid stamped Mellow Moss CS in Old Olive ink. Distressed edges, added 3 brads.
