After my projects are dry, I stack lots of heavy books on top of them. To make sure none of the paint sticks to the books, I "sandwich" my project between wax paper. This flattens them out nicely....

Acrylic paints...I have tons....some cheap, some more expensive. I recently got some heavy body acrylic paints and am wondering what is the advantage of heavy body paints over the "not-so-heavy body"...

That was the first tool I tried, but after it made a nick in my blade, I ended up having to buy another one, and resorted to scissors. My shank remover was pretty "frugal" quality, however.

I was a little reluctant to recommend using scissors, only because the metal dies can sometimes nick or bend scissor blades...but if you are like me, I have a few OLD pair of scissors lying around...

I love the look I get from mixing spray...

I love the look I get from mixing spray mists/inks with gesso to color it in such a variety of colors. It's a great way to use up those mists that are normally just sitting there. :D
